Dear Guest,

You wanted to experience the real Africa, away from the typical tourism industry?
You have no exclusive claims, are adventurous and open to another world?
Then you are exactly right here.

We would like to introduce ourselves briefly to you and give you an insight into our heart project as well as into another culture, into another world.

We are a German couple who lost their hearts to Africa. Years ago we gained some experiences about another world by traveling in Africa. Their simplicity and at the same time diversity and beauty enchanted us. After we got to know each other, it quickly became clear that our connection to Africa moved us to start a heart project: apartments in Africa’s smallest country “Gambia”, which should also enable you to experience unforgettable impressions and experiences.

What awaits us here?

You certainly don’t expect a 5* hotel, no all-inclusive, no luxury.

Apartments (self-catering) and a barbecue lounge await you. Due to the ongoing construction phase, another apartment, pool and bar will not be added until summer 2022. The apartments are built and furnished in a typical African style. They reflect the life and simplicity of the culture. Therefore, it is best to leave your demands and expectations at home and get involved with something new.

Where everything has a beginning…

In 2020 we bought a plot of land in How Ba Global Estate, a new district of Sanyang in The Gambia.
This district is about 1000m from the ocean and is still relatively undeveloped. That means it’s an idyllic unspoilt quiet corner, away from tourism. Due to the beginning of the Corona Pandemic, we were only able to start the construction project in November 2020. We too had thought too German and created a schedule. It was absolutely impossible for us to keep to the schedule, because the clocks tick differently in Africa. It may all seem more complicated at first, but if you get involved with the culture, life ultimately becomes more carefree and easier, away from control and stress. In The Gambia, for example, there are no homepages where you can get contact details, place orders, or get deliveries. In Gambia you have to ask around personally, approach people, make phone calls, which sometimes costs time and nerves. Many things seem to be more complicated than one is used to. Ultimately, however, one begins to appreciate the small things in life again, to be happy about small advances in life and to be grateful.
